Here's the test that finds even minimum quantities of GM components in foods A test has been finally developed to allow finding even minimum quantities of transgenic components in foods. The new method has been devised in Great Britain by RHM Technology and allows checking also the ingredients used in food processing. In practice, at this stage, those who want to offer products with no genetically modified components are able to offer guarantees of this, and, on the other hand, it becomes legitimate to demand that the presence of these elements be clearly indicated and readable on the label. Now the decision is up to the politicians and to the consumer market.
