New supply of pork contaminated by PCB (from which dioxine derives) found in Turin (Italy). 14/07/1999

Belgian pork containing PCB (from which dioxine derives) has been found in Turin, coming from the company "Kel Star" in Oidenaarde (Belgium).

It is the third contaminated supply discovered in Turin after those of July 1 and 9.

The presence of PCB has been signalled by the analysis performed by the ARPA (regional environmental agency) laboratories.
