Health and sickness

Health depends from the balance between yin and yang and sickness comes from the difference between these two forces. Yin and Yang, body and spirit, can only exist together, always transforming one into the other.

Yin doesn’t exist without yang, and vice-versa. Yin controls yang and yang controls yin: this is the principle of life. A disease represents a lack in their balance, when one of the two prevails on the other. As a consequence, there will be excess of a kind of energy and scarcity of another and the body will be easily assailed with a series of external factors.
