La NSR ha sviluppato un tecnologia in grado di convertire il 95% dei rifiuti plastici in carburante liquido: da un chilo di plastica si ottiene circa un litro di carburante; la quantità dipende dal tipo di plastica.
Il residuo 5% del peso è ricco in carbone con un più alto valore in btu. Questa tecnologia non produce co2 e riduce l'inquinamento da plastica.
The unique technology developed by the
NSR team, can dispose of most types of waste plastic by converting it into a useful liquid fuel with a 95% of product output. The 5% residue is rich in carbon and can be used as a replacement for coal, except with a higher BTU value. The technology is very environmentally friendly and practically self-sufficient. Waste plastic is abundant and its disposal creates large problems for the environment. Estimates suggest 200 billion pounds of plastic is produced every year. Due to the technical limitations of recycling, only a fraction of that material resurfaces in new plastic products. With NSR’s technology the waste plastic can be converted back to fuel therefore attacking both problems at the same time, dealing with the waste plastic problem and creating useable fuel in one process.
